The BitterFly project originates from an article on an overseas professional academic forum titled "BitterFly: The Butterfly Entropy Weight Consensus Algorithm." This project addresses some of the shortcomings in the BTC network across three areas: consensus mechanism, blockchain performance, and community governance. In terms of the consensus mechanism, it introduces the POF algorithm to optimize idle distributed cloud computing power. Regarding community governance, it brings in a fair competition mechanism for nodes.
