DUNE is dedicated to building an ecosystem that can be accessed across all media and boasts a rich array of dApps. It was created by former Tezos team members due to differing community development philosophies, forking from Tezos, with its genesis occurring on June 24, 2019.
Notable features of the DUNE project include: strong security; self-evolution capability; based on LDPOS consensus; on-chain governance including council, treasury, and public referendums.
