Currency Introduction

STEPN is a move-to-earn fitness app. Users equipped with NFT sneakers can go outdoors to earn tokens and NFT rewards. STEPN features an integrated wallet, an NFT marketplace, swaps, and a leasing system that enables non-crypto users to utilize STEPN.

STEPN operates on a dual-token system: a game token—the Green Satoshi Token (GST)—and a governance token—the Green Metaverse Token (GMT).

STEPN is a Web3 lifestyle application with Social-Fi and Game-Fi elements. Users wearing NFT Sneakers can walk, jog, or run outdoors to earn GST, which can be used for upgrading and minting new sneakers.
Players have the option to lease or sell their NFT sneakers on the in-app marketplace; a user’s GST earnings are stored in the integrated wallet with swap functionality.

Current features of STEPN include:
Mobile App: STEPN is available on the iOS App Store and Google Play (in select countries).
Sneaker NFTs: Each sneaker has different types, qualities, attributes, and gem slots. Users can upgrade and customize sneakers by burning tokens.
Move and Earn: Users equipped with sneaker NFTs can move outdoors to earn tokens. The app has multi-layered anti-cheat mechanisms to prevent cheating.
Leasing System: Users can borrow sneakers for free, move to earn, and then split the earnings with the sneaker owner.
In-App NFT Marketplace: Users can trade their NFTs on the marketplace.
In-App Swap Functionality: Users can swap their token earnings for other forms of cryptocurrency.
In-App Decentralized Wallet: Users can deposit or send cryptocurrency to the wallet to fund their spending account.
