Momentum is a dynamic deflationary token. Most deflationary tokens decrease with the same constant percentage for each transfer. Momentum takes a more dynamic approach to calculating transfer fees, involving two important values: Short Momentum and Long Momentum - these influence the tokens transfer fees. These values resemble moving averages of traditional transfer scales. When Short Momentum approaches Long Momentum, a 0.75% transfer fee is generated. As Short Momentum moves further away from Long Momentum, an unstable fee between 0.75% and approximately 4% is generated. Both momentum values are regularly updated on the homepage and can also be queried through an adjustable function within the smart contract.
