What are Ordinals (ORDI)?
Bitcoin has a total supply of 21 million coins, and each coin can be divided into 100 million satoshis (sats, the smallest unit of Bitcoin), resulting in a total of 21 quadrillion sats.
ORDI is the first and most valuable BRC-20 token on the Bitcoin network. To understand ORDI, one must first grasp the concept of inscriptions. Inscriptions are created by writing content directly onto satoshis using the Ordinals protocol. Inscriptions do not require separate tokens, sidechains, or any changes to Bitcoin itself;
The Ordinals protocol allows for information to be inscribed onto individual satoshis, such as text, images, audio, and video. Due to the size limitations of Bitcoin blocks, the primary forms of inscriptions are text and images, often taking the form of NFTs and tokens.
Since inscriptions are created directly on the Bitcoin blockchain, they are immutable and do not depend on any project team; as long as Bitcoin exists, inscriptions will persist;
One of the key principles of the Ordinals protocol is "first-come, first-served." Whoever inscribes first gets it, and anyone can deploy contracts on the Bitcoin chain through the protocol. Success can lead to significant gains, while failure might only amount to an experiment.

Who is the Founder of Ordinals (ORDI)?
The BRC-20 token standard was created by the Twitter user @domodata. It is currently an experimental, interchangeable token standard, with the tokens themselves having little value.
How Does Ordinals Work?
ORdi tokens have been converted from BRC-20 tokens on the BTC network to tokens on the BSV network using a smart contract platform called RelayX. This enables users to trade ORdi tokens on the BSV network without high fees or reliance on centralized exchanges. BSV is a cryptocurrency that forked from BTC in 2018, claiming to follow Satoshi Nakamoto’s original vision. There is a blockchain explorer for BSV called WhatsOnChain where you can view transactions and tokens on the BSV network.
