| Coin Intro | "PERI is the utility token of the PERI Finance trading platform, used to create liquidity pools during staking processes and generate basic Pynths (PERI synthetic assets). It also serves as the voting tool within the PERI DAO, playing a critical role in the development of PERI Finance. PERI holders who stake PERI receive three different rewards: PERI inflation rate rewards; distribution of PERI asset earnings; and commission allocations from Pynths trading and leveraged Pynths contract trading. These rewards are distributed to stakers based on their contributions to the network.
PERI Finance is a decentralized, cross-chain synthetic asset derivatives trading platform driven on the Polkadot network. Gareth David Bowles (Co-Founder):
He began his career at Moneycorp TTTLtd, trading currencies for real-money clients (both private and corporate). Since 2006, he has served as the Head of Business Development at Smart Currency Exchange Limited, creating new sales channels for the physical delivery of currency for SMEs in the UK.
He then focused on selling Citis FX franchise to corporate clients in Switzerland and Eastern Europe while working in the Citibank Prime Brokerage Sales team at the New York headquarters. Currently, Gareth is an advisor and shareholder at King King Street Capital Management Ltd, specifically working with Seabury, a US venture capital firm that invested in Noble, a US bank dedicated to clearing the digital space. He has extensive experience in providing FX hedging risk advisory services to corporate clients, engaging in M&A, FX technology solutions, settlement, and crypto trading clearance.
